Andrew Ballentine: Your Expert Financial Advisor
Andrew Ballentine is a Financial Planner with Nelson Financial Planning and a FINRA registered representative. Mr. Ballentine joined the firm on September 14th, 2009.
Mr. Ballentine holds various securities licenses including, Series 7 - General Securities Representative, Series 24 - General Securities Principal, Series 6 - Investment Company & Variable Contracts, Series 63 - Uniform Securities Agent State Laws and Series 65 – Uniform Investment Adviser Laws, and also a State of Florida Life, Health & Variable Annuities License.
Prior to joining NFP, Mr. Ballentine worked in the securities business for several different firms, ranging from consulting with major institutions on their retirement plans to working with individuals on their personal financial goals.
Andrew earned his B.S. in Food & Resource Economics with a Minor in Business Administration from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at the University of Florida. Additionally, Andrew earned his M.A. in agribusiness from the graduate school at the University of Florida and served as a graduate assistant for finance and investment courses. Mr. Ballentine is a 2015 cum laude graduate of the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University College of Law.
Mr. Ballentine also serves as the Board President for his community’s Homeowners Association and previously as the Secretary of the Board. His responsibilities include managing the association's legal, finance, and investment aspects. Mr. Ballentine also serves as a treasurer for Vorg, Inc., a non-profit dedicated to promoting animal welfare.
