Christina Lamb, CF2™
Christina Maria Lamb is a CF2™, Financial Planner, and IRS Enrolled Agent with Nelson Financial Planning (NFP) and a FINRA registered representative and principal of Nelson Ivest Brokerage Services (NIBS), in Winter Park, Florida.
Mrs. Lamb has been in the financial industry for over 20 years and currently serves the role of Chief Operations Officer for NFP.
Mrs. Lamb joined the NFP team (formally Nelson Investment Planning) as a full-time Executive Sales Assistant to Jack Nelson and Joel Garris in 2003. In addition to serving her own clients' financial needs, Mrs. Lamb’s responsibilities include providing Joel with vital information needed for each client meeting and serving as the back-office coordinator with the mutual fund companies.
Mrs. Lamb has furthered her career by obtaining her Certified Financial Fiduciary designation, Series 6 securities license, Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Representative and Series 26 securities principal license, Investment Company and Variable Contracts Products Principal. As a Securities Principal, Mrs. Lamb oversees the transactions and trades of all the registered representatives in the office.
During the Federal Income Tax Season, Mrs. Lamb’s responsibilities extend to the coordination and organization of tax information obtained from individuals and certain corporations for the appropriate tax filing. As an IRS Enrolled Agent, Mrs. Lamb has the privilege of representing tax clients before the IRS.
Mrs. Lamb is an occasional co-host of Central Florida’s longest-running radio show “Dollars and Sense” heard live every Sunday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am on 540|740AM, generally discussing the latest Federal Income Tax news.
In 2004, Mrs. Lamb graduated from the University of Central Florida, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration as a finance major.
In her free time, Mrs. Lamb enjoys spending time with her husband, Eric, and son, Ethen, outdoors hiking and surfing. Mrs. Lamb’s volunteer work in the community includes involvement with local public schools in the Kissimmee/Saint Cloud area where she grew up, along with yearly participation with the American Cancer Society and the Boy Scouts of America.
